Description:
As part of the modernization of the National Railway Network within the framework of the PRR (Digitalization of Railway Transport), Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) intends to replace the current signaling system (type ESTW L90P) at the Campolide concentration stations (Linha da Cintura), Oriente, Alverca and19981d172c851bd4e8a1788d5726c2d3Azambuja (Northern Line), aiming to make the physical and functional connections of the Northern Line, of the National Railway Network (RFN), compatible with the new High Speed Line (LAV), allowing a combined use, with the aim of bringing urban center rail services19981d172c851bd4e8a1788d5726c2d3, extending the benefits of LAV to the rest of the country.
The total length of intervention is approximately 55 km of double and quadruple tracks.
To this end, IP will soon launch a contracting procedure (international public tender) under a design-build contract, including a19981d172c851bd4e8a1788d5726c2d3maintenance component of 20 (twenty) years after provisional receipt of the component
