• Description:
• The purpose of the contract is to maintain hydrometeorological monitoring networks, essential infrastructures for: meteorological and hydrological forecast; water resources management; risk prevention and mitigation (floods, droughts, extreme events); - compliance with European Directives; - support for civil protection and various strategic public services. These networks integrate sensitive, geographically dispersed, technologically complex equipment that requires: - technical continuity; calibration and regular cleaning; the accumulated knowledge about the state and behavior of the sensors; logistical capacity for field operations; - regular visits to discourage acts of vandalism, and - integration into information systems and telemetry. Therefore, it is a set of services that are not compatible with very short contractual periods, under penalty of compromising the reliability of the data series and the quality of maintenance operations.
